Men's smoking is not good for their health. Compared to male friends, they all understand this sentence. However, when they become addicted to smoking, men always lose control. Here are some tips to help men quit smoking.
Tip 1: Find something (except food) to occupy your hand. Try doing things in your spare time, such as doing handicrafts, home repairs, gardening, and even crossword puzzles.
Tip 2: Put the money you plan to buy cigarettes in a money tank for a day, a month, or a year. Use the money to reward yourself, buy a fancy dress, buy luxury goods, or change a lifestyle to enjoy life.
Tip 3: Stick photos of yourself with dark skin and yellow teeth on the small mirror you carry with you. Seeing it may make your smoking hand shrink.
Tip 4: Collect all your cigarette butts in a large transparent glass bottle and take a look every day to cultivate your aversion to smoking.
Tip 5: Do not carry tobacco and its matches, and place it in a place that is not easily accessible. Discard all tobacco, lighters, and other smoking utensils. Create a clean and fresh smoke-free environment at home and at work.
Tip 6: Choose a smokeless environment. Enjoy outdoor activities or go to places that prohibit smoking, such as libraries, museums, cinemas, shops, or churches. When dining in a restaurant, try to sit in the smoke-free area of the restaurant.
When you feel that using mindfulness control alone to quit smoking is very annoying and not effective, try the tips outlined above, and you may receive unexpected results.
