What do men need to pay attention to when swimming?
1. When coming out, be sure to rinse your body with clean water. The water in the swimming pool contains a large amount of chlorinated disinfectant. Use a weakly alkaline shower gel to wash your entire body and neutralize the acidic disinfectant.
2. It is important to wash your body according to regulations before entering the water. Make adequate preparations and choose auxiliary equipment, such as life buoys and diving goggles. When swimming in the sea, one must be aware of the tides. To understand the water temperature, the ideal temperature is 27 degrees Celsius.
3. Avoid swimming before and after meals. Swimming on an empty stomach can affect appetite and digestive function, and can also cause unexpected situations such as dizziness and fatigue during swimming. Swimming with a full stomach can also affect digestion, and can cause stomach cramps, even vomiting, and abdominal pain.
4. Avoid swimming in the sun for a long time. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause sunburn or acute dermatitis, also known as sunburn. To prevent sunburn, it is best to shade the shore with an umbrella, or rest in the shade of trees, or protect the skin with a bath towel, or apply sunscreen to exposed areas of the body.
5. Avoid swimming in unfamiliar waters. When swimming in natural waters, do not jump into the water. It is not suitable to swim around the water area and under complex underwater conditions to avoid accidents.
6. Avoid swimming after strenuous exercise. Swimming immediately after strenuous exercise can increase the burden on the heart. A sharp drop in body temperature can weaken resistance and cause colds, pharyngitis, etc.
7. Avoid swimming without doing preparatory activities. The water temperature is usually lower than the body temperature, so you must do preparatory activities before entering the water, otherwise it can easily lead to physical discomfort.
8. Avoid eating immediately after swimming. After swimming, it is advisable to rest for a while before eating, otherwise it will suddenly increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract and easily cause gastrointestinal diseases over time.
9. Avoid swimming for too long. The skin generally has three reaction periods to cold stimulation:
Stage 1: After entering the water, under the stimulation of cold, the skin blood vessels contract, and the skin color appears pale.
Stage 2: After staying in water for a certain time, the blood flow on the body surface expands, the skin changes from pale to light red, and the skin changes from cold to warm.
Stage 3: Stay too long, the body temperature dissipates more than the heat, and the skin appears goose bumps and shivers. This is a taboo period for summer travel, and water should be released in a timely manner. The duration of swimming should generally not exceed 1.5 to 2 hours.
10. Do not neglect post swimming hygiene. After swimming, you should immediately use a soft dry towel to wipe off the scale on your body, drip chloramphenicol or boric acid eye drops, and blow out nasal secretions. If water enters the ear, use the "same side jump" to drain the water. After that, do a few more relaxation exercises and limb massages or take a nap in the sun for 15-20 minutes to avoid muscle stiffness and fatigue.
